Children's clubs: 12 new leaders trained in Vietnam

East December, we formed 12 new young women to lead the Clubs des we have set up in Vietnam. During this 5-day training courseour early childhood expert Nolwenn Deschard and our social workers had the opportunity observation and animation techniques, but above all 5 specific themes under the umbrella of from both a practical and theoretical angle: child development, emotions, play, screens, gender and first aid.

The Kids' Club is a play area open to families with children under 6. Younger children have the chance to meet other children, learn through play and gain self-confidence. Parents have the opportunity to get to know other children. families, exchange ideas and meet social workers to improve their knowledge and skills in caring for and protecting children. Children and parents discover the joy of playing and laughing together. Sessions are held every 15 days in two social centers in Ho Chi Minh City.

What did the participants think?

Hương: I really appreciated the sharing and the exchanges in the form of advice rather than "you have to do this or that".

Nguyễn Chi: The module on emotions left a lasting impression on me and made me take a step back in terms of how I react to toddlers' behavior and reactions.
