In Burkina Faso, the principle of free and compulsory education for all children between the ages of 6 and 16, without discrimination, has been in effect since 2012.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to apply, particularly because ofan insufficient number of schools. Indeed, many students, living too far from these structures, repeat or drop out at the end of primary school.

Our project to build 4 middle school classrooms (one per level), close to the primary classes, will offer an educational continuum: children will be welcomed in Koubri from the age of 6 and will be able to study until the BEP diploma is obtainedC (equivalent of the patent in France).

The project aims to also to improve student development through extracurricular activities and nutritional monitoring.

2 classrooms will be opened as of the beginning of the 2019 school year and 2 others as of the start of the 2020 school year. 150 children will be welcomed each year.
