This month, we're off to the Chemins d'Enfances playgrounds, where the creativity and energy of a team like no other is on display every day: Pablo, Morgane, Sophie, Emma and Chloé.
Five personalities, five unique backgrounds, but the same mission: to support children and their families through play, listening and sharing. That's how, in their van and equipped with their trunk of games, they set off every day to meet children and families in emergency shelters in France.
Different paths, but the same direction
At Chemins d'Enfances, each of our projects reflects the same desire to act.
While Morgane, a former designer, thrives on direct contact with families; Sophie has brought back from Bolivia her commitment to children, an audience to which Pablo is particularly attached in his search for meaning; Emma, marked by a volunteer experience in Ecuador, wants to put her values into action; Chloé, on the other hand, passionate about culture and creation, combines imagination and education.
Different talents, united by the same drive: to use play as a lever for awareness and confidence.
Guaranteed excitement in the field
All recount intense moments...
Pablo recalls a theater workshop on emotions: “It wasn't the easiest to frame, but surely the one where I laughed the most.”
A subject that also touches Morgane. She remembers an angry little boy, whom she patiently accompanied for two years: “One day, he said to me: ‘Have you seen how much less angry I get now? I was so proud of him, and of us.’
Sophie recalls the realization of a culinary project in a social hotel: “The children produced a recipe booklet and presented their dishes Top Chef style. Seeing the pride in their eyes was magical.”
As for Chloé, she has fond memories of an outing to the Auteuil racecourse: “The kids were all smiles all day, it was infectious.”
For Emma, moments of sharing are everything: “When children recognize us and jump into our arms, or when moms tell us their stories... That's when we measure the value of the bond.”
A close-knit team, laughing and helping one another
When asked what song summed up their mood, the answers came thick and fast: “Walk of Life” by Dire Straits, “Midnight City” by M83... or even the latest GIMS album, which has apparently become the official soundtrack of the workshops!
In this team, humor and solidarity are everywhere.
And on a desert island?
According to Morgane, “Emma would look for help, Sophie would set up camp, Pablo would grumble as he helped, and I would make a list.”
As for Sophie, she's already imagining herself “swimming to go fishing”, while Emma “puts the island in a good mood”. One thing is certain: even on a desert island, the team will be able to get organized, laugh... and probably invent a collective game!
In three words?
Committed, joyful and united.
And if play is their tool, bonding is their driving force.
On the activity mats, in the shared laughter and confidences of the children, these five edutainment project managers cultivate something rare every day: trust. Thanks to them for that!
