Many thanks to the 125 donors who took part in our generosity evening in October 2024. Donations received during the evening contributed to or fully funded the following activities.
#1. Help 13 municipal crèches become self-sufficient while maintaining a quality service / Cambodia
- Staff at the 13 crèches are coached twice a month, with monthly evaluations of the facilities.
- 13 childcare assistants (1 per crèche) trained in a tool for monitoring children's individual development.
- Communes are now autonomous in terms of financial monitoring, building maintenance and human resources management. We are continuing our support for monitoring and evaluation (assessment of auxiliary practices, enrolment monitoring, child health monitoring, projections, etc.).
- 311 new children in 2025.
A high-quality, viable model taken up by the State: the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has committed to subsidizing the salaries of 3 employees per crèche from 2026 onwards. 60 new crèches will be set up based on the model we have launched, financed in part by funds from the World Bank.
#2. Provide psycho-medical support to complement parent-child workshops in social centers / Vietnam
- 3 parent-child clubs in Ho Chi Minh City: 2 in social centers and 1 in a charity school for underprivileged children.
- 108 1h30 workshops offered every 2 weeks to 245 families in need (including 327 children).
- Health consultations organized according to the needs identified during the workshops: prevention of common childhood illnesses and health care, improved nutrition.
