As a member of the collective Against Human Trafficking, which brings together 28 associations in France, Planète Enfants & Développement would like to highlight its latest awareness-raising campaign, "On voudrait toutes et tous que ce soit une fête".
With 6 months to go before the start of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the aim of this campaign is to provide information on the risks of amplification of the phenomenon of exploitation and trafficking on the sidelines of major sporting events, to alert people to all forms of exploitation, to help identify victims and to propose courses of action to support them.
Sexual exploitation, labour exploitation (personal services, construction, catering, transport......), domestic slavery, coercion to commit offences, forced begging... the campaign illustrates, through 9 life stories, all the forms of exploitation and trafficking faced by children, women and men of all ages and nationalities.
A detailed booklet also provides keys for training professionals and volunteers. in contact with victims of exploitation (police, justice, social services, education, sports and culture...).
Through this campaign, the Collectif also hopes to build partnerships with companies, institutions and the organizers of the 2024 Olympics to limit the phenomenon.
