In Kathmandu, we have been fighting against the exploitation of young girls in prostitution since 2010. In the affected neighborhoods, we conduct campaigns to connect the main victims with the services they need: medical, psychological, legal and administrative assistance, or vocational training.
In order to reinforce this collective approach, we want to integrate a more individual approach, based on our Family Support methodology, through two new services On the one hand, regular visits and personalized follow-up by a social worker for 6 months for the most vulnerable cases in order to give them back their autonomy and dignity; on the other hand, the creation of a social permanence open every day: a close, efficient and comforting presence for a very precarious public.
