Between June 2021 and February 2022, Planète Enfants & Développement and the association Toutes à l'école created by Tina Kieffer have established a partnership for the renovation of houses in Cambodia. We have renovated 36 houses where students of Happy Chandara School, a school managed by Toutes à l'école in Phnom Penh, live.
Many Happy Chandara students lived in extremely precarious conditions in the Praek Thmei district (in Phnom Penh). Their small tin houses, with dangerous and light structures, were highly exposed to climatic hazards (especially floods). They now have more watertight, solid and safe homes.
Below, some pictures of the houses of Sreyka, Savin and Sopha, before and after the works.
