If life is gradually returning to normal, the last 3 months have been very hard for many inhabitants. Here is an overview of our activities in Vietnam to help them.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Support for students in professional integration<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of February, Vietnam was closing schools. Plan\u00e8te Enfants &amp; D\u00e9veloppement in Vietnam has set up various initiatives with the <strong>Nhan Dao partner vocational training center<\/strong> :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the students of our <\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/en\/projects\/youth-socio-professional-integration-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beauty salon L\u00e0 Nails<\/a><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were able to follow a <strong>online English courses<\/strong> April 24 and receive video lessons from our local team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we supported Nhan Dao in the implementation of a <strong>life skills\" course module<\/strong> to have the students work on their skills and talents acquired through their life experience. Hoa, our social worker, gathered <strong><span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">18 students<\/span><\/strong> motivated for a lively online session, which ended up lasting two hours instead of one!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Food distribution to the most affected families<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With our local partner TFCF, we organized <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/en\/2020\/04\/13\/covid-19-vietnam-distribute-products-to-families-in-difficulty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">distribution of essential products<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <strong><span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">30 families<\/span><\/strong> distributed in two <strong>social centers<\/strong> of Ho Chi Minh City.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Telephone follow-up for the most vulnerable<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In parallel to the distribution, social workers from the Centre de Travail Social pour l'Enfance (CTSE), our local partner, have <strong>called<\/strong> more than <strong><span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">100 families<\/span> <\/strong>in each district. An opportunity to<strong>identify affected families<\/strong> by the virus, from <strong>better understand their difficulties<\/strong> the crisis, and to provide them with information, particularly on the <strong>food distribution locations<\/strong> in Ho Chi Minh City.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Advice on special social aid measures that have been put in place<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From May 21, we also set up <strong>information sessions<\/strong> to present the special social aid released by the Vietnamese government to face the crisis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&gt;&gt; Despite our efforts, many students from disadvantaged families have not been able to take their courses at a distance due to lack of access to a computer or Internet connection. We would therefore like to organize a<strong> distribution of telephone cards<\/strong> with Internet credit to enable them to attend online courses. We would also like to distribute <span style=\"color: #4893d7;\"><strong>15 smartphones or tablets<\/strong><\/span> to students who do not have one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can <\/span><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #ef7097; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.helloasso.com\/associations\/planete-enfants-developpement\/formulaires\/12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">help us to accompany them<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in this difficult period.
