But also women we have accompanied in the past and who are currently struggling for a new life<\/em>\"explains St\u00e9phanie Selle, Director of the association in Nepal.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Translation of radio spots into local languages<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of March 31, the <strong>prevention messages<\/strong> created by our team in Nepal and produced by our local partners were broadcast on the radio,<strong> in <span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">3 local languages<\/span><\/strong>in <strong><span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">5 districts<\/span><\/strong> Dhading, Gorkha, Chitwan, Makwampur, Sindupalchowk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objective: to raise awareness of barrier gestures among the populations forgotten by the State and in particular<strong> families and children of the Chepang ethnic group<\/strong>s, previously cut off from the national prevention campaign by the <strong>language barrier<\/strong>. Specific radio messages are addressed to children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Provision of an online Preschool Toolkit (PTO)\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With our partner Child Nepal, <strong>we have adapted the Burkinabe BOP<\/strong> to propose a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Blog-Of-Preschool-BOP-Nepal-100191514974322\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nepalese Preschool Toolkit on Facebook<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Online since mid-April, it offers parents resources to help their children understand the pandemic we are going through. The Facebook page will then offer many free online resources to awaken their little ones and allow them to learn through play.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\"><b>Follow-up of beneficiaries by telephone\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the beginning of April, we have adapted our <strong>monitoring of <span style=\"color: #4893d7;\">250 women<\/span> from Dhading and Kathmandu, by phone and SMS<\/strong>. These women, who are already exposed to violence and have little education, must be particularly listened to, oriented and protected in this period of distress when<strong> confinement exacerbates violent behavior<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&gt;&gt; <strong>Thank you to all our donors<\/strong> without whom these first actions would not have been possible.
