She explains the changes that this support has produced for her and her children. Read her testimony.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Tke4J7Rhe7w?start=35\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>March 8, International Women's Rights Day<\/strong>is an opportunity to remind ourselves that we act daily in favor of the<strong>emancipation of women<\/strong> and the improvement of their living conditions.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Working with vulnerable mothers in Vietnam<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L'<strong>accompaniment of the families<\/strong> is thus one of our priorities in Vietnam to enable them to solve their difficulties by themselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For 6 to 9 months, our teams of social workers offer psycho-social support to vulnerable families and direct them to the appropriate services to which they are entitled but often do not know (housing, health, education).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Special attention is given to women, who are supported in finding a job and in managing their families on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Women's economic empowerment is one of the keys to poverty reduction in developing countries, especially in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enabling women to access employment also means enabling the household to have a decent income and thus providing children with access to education and health services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Hong is one of the beneficiaries of our family support project in Ho Chi Minh City.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Previously without a stable job, mother of 3 children out of school, suffering from malnutrition, the follow-up offered by Plan\u00e8te Enfants &amp; D\u00e9veloppement has opened new opportunities for her. She was able to send her children to school thanks to scholarships, follow nutrition workshops to offer them a balanced diet, but also increase her turnover on the market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Hong has also learned to manage her family budget and is now more confident about the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supporting the emancipation of women and accompanying their families means <strong>give children a chance to grow up in a healthy and protective environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>March 2020<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Madame Hong, m\u00e8re et femme active, a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de notre programme d\u2019accompagnement familial \u00e0 Ho Chi Minh Ville au Vietnam.
