It has become dilapidated and is a danger to the children. We are therefore launching the construction of a new boarding school with our local partner Prayas Nepal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5859 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"nepal_home_chepang2440ppx\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx-50x50.jpg 50w, https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/nepal_foyer_chepang2440ppx.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\">The new building, made of earthquake-proof prefabricated material, will be built on land made available to the Chepang Community Association by the local authorities in Gajuri, a town of about 10,000 inhabitants in the Dhading district, and will be able to accommodate 35 students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chepang community, very poor, is one of the most marginalized ethnic groups in Nepal. Its members live in very remote and difficult to access areas. <span style=\"color: #f5a129;\"><strong>Some girls have to walk up to 7 hours to get to college<\/strong><\/span>. Schooling for adolescent girls is far from being a priority.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #f5a129;\"><strong>This home is a chance for 35 girls<\/strong><\/span> to continue their studies and<strong>envision a future<\/strong> other than that of their mothers, who are often illiterate, victims of violence and discrimination. Let's help them to consider this <strong><span style=\"color: #ef7097;\">the next world<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the home, girls aged 11 to 18 will benefit from <span style=\"color: #f5a129;\"><strong>support courses<\/strong><\/span> in science and literature in order to catch up, as their level is often lower than the city's students. They will also benefit from <span style=\"color: #f5a129;\"><strong>advice on their professional orientation<\/strong><\/span>.
