Official partner of the Tour Voile 2019, Cheminées Poujoulat offered one of our faithful donors an exceptional day on the event.

Pascal and two companionsAfter a draw among our donors, Pascal had an appointment on July 20th in Nice, the day before the final, for an exceptional morning. On the program, meeting with Robin Follin and the Cheminées Poujoulat crew, briefing by a sailing expert and sailing on board a racing boat during training. For this school teacher, monthly donor of the association for 5 years, the experience was unique.

"Before the race and despite the tiredness of the participants, the atmosphere was good within and between the teams. However, during the morning briefing on the race conditions, I felt a lot of attention from the skippers and the tension really rose! Just before the race, the teams train in real conditions. Nevertheless, they can take a passenger on board. Although this is a "white" race, I can assure you that once on the catamaran, the intensity of the teams' commitment is very real. I practiced sailing from the age of 7 to 15 years old, it made me want to do it again!

An opportunity to thank Pascal for his loyalty to Planète Enfants & Développement. He confides to us that at the time he was looking "to support an association working for children abroad, in countries where a donation could generate a significant improvement in the well-being of the population, particularly in the field of education. His research and the advice of those around him led him to choose our association!

This is also what Planète Enfants & Développement is all about, a space for beautiful encounters between all those who make the association every day. So thank you Cheminées Poujoulat, thank you Pascal and to all our donors and partners.

Cheminées Poujoulat is the European leader in chimney flues and roof exits, for nearly 70 years. 10 years of partnership and 128 747€ paid to carry out our projects in favor of children and their families, especially in Nepal.
