Whether it is to apprehend new territories or new skills, we systematically seek complementarity with other actors. Nothing revolutionary, there is strength in numbers...
This is how, at the VietnamWe have just developed a program to fight against violence against women, "Hy Vong" (Hope) with another French NGO, Batik International.
Our two associations work in this country to promote gender equality, PE&D in Ho Chi Minh City and Batik in Hanoi; Batik to prevent violence and PE&D to protect victims. In all cases, public actors, civil society and communities are involved in the diagnosis and the solutions implemented.
This new project will allow us to exchange skills and knowledge, and ultimately, to provide an effective and comprehensive response to gender-based violence.
Three impacts are sought by 2022:
- 120 students will understand and engage against gender-based violence, and among them the future leaders of Vietnamese society,
- victims of gender-based violence will be identified and supported,
- the public debate will integrate gender issues.
The fight for equality is now a crucial issue in Vietnam!
