Cambodia: Distribution of books in the precarious districts of Phnom Penh

18 Jun, 2020
On June 8th, our team in Cambodia went to a precarious district of Phnom Penh, Bonteay Slerk, to distribute books to children who have been deprived of school for several months already.
51 children aged 3 to 8 years old were given Khmer language books purchased from the NGO Sipar Cambodia, which specializes in the fight against illiteracy.
It is an opportunity for these children to continue learning while Cambodian schools are not expected to reopen until November.
