On Wednesday 6 January, our Kidora daycare center opened its doors in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for a first group of children aged 6 months to 4 years. Children and parents are delighted, as evidenced by Nolwenn Deschard, our Early Childhood Expert currently there.
It was with a smile that the parents and their little ones pushed the doors of the crèche. From the first hours, the children felt comfortable and wanted to test the many activities offered by the crèche. We are starting with a small group of children, but we are looking forward to new faces in this large villa adapted for their development.”
It is in a large house with garden that nearly 40 children will be able to developp themselves in very good conditions. The establishment was designed to be a family-friendly, safe and stimulating place, with a pedagogy that respects the rhythms of each child.
The opening of the crèche is a relief for Sorya Chan, the director of the establishment, who has been forced to postpone its opening several times as a result of the sanitary measures imposed by the country because of Covid-19.
