Planète Enfants & Développement works in four countries whose situations are rapidly evolving. In Burkina Faso, particularly, the increased action of the radical armed groups, specifically in the North, causes the displacement of populations fleeing violence. In Vietnam, rapid economic development does not benefit everyone and the increase in social inequalities must be corrected. In Nepal, the country’s development is very limited due to the consequences of the recent earthquake. In Cambodia, the economic growth makes it more evident that there is an urgent need to focus on the poorest groups, as they are excluded from the process.
