Support for the vocational training of young people in Vietnam :

Assist with the professional integration of vulnerable young people in Ho Chi Minh :

Why ?

In 2010, new Multidimensional poverty indicators, developed by the UNDP show that 28% of the population of Ho Chi Minh do not have access to at least 3 basic services and live in uncertain conditions for financial or legal reasons, or even down to ignorance leading to self-exclusion. Ho Chi Minh, holds a strong appeal for internal migration and population growth is also currently causing many difficulties in the areas of employment and professional integration. To meet the needs of young people, Planète Enfant & Développement has implemented complementary solutions of training and employment access.

How ?

The project helps disadvantaged youths to access a job thanks to a personalized support, integrating vocational training and job search support. For this, Planète Enfants & Développement relies on a wide network of companies and training centres.

From 2017, activities which have up until now taken place in our social centres, will be transferred to two training centres that integrate these social activities in a specific Department.

Planète Enfants & Développement will strengthen their skills to help support the young people who they welcome in. For example, at these centres we offer alternate patterns of training, with very practical content and accessible to young people with low academic levels.

  • 300 vulnerable young people
